Vinoo Ganapathy, MD, MBAChief Executive Officer
Dr. Ganapathy is an emergency room physician with more than 20 years of experience and is board-certified in both internal medicine and emergency medicine. He also received his MBA degree in health from the George Washington University. He graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College in India, where he worked in the Indian Air Force as a physician for five years. During his work with the Indian Air Force, he was responsible for a wide variety of cases, including pregnancy deliveries, pediatrics, geriatric cases, and trauma and medical cases. After working with the Indian Air Force, Dr. Ganapathy completed his residencies and took his board certifications in both internal medicine and emergency medicine in New York.
In 1993, he moved to Hawaii and worked full time as an attending physician in the emergency room at St. Francis Hawaii Medical Center West until its closing in December 2011. He currently works part time at Kuakini and Waianae Comprehensive Hospitals, as well as hospitals in mainland emergency rooms. He is well-qualified and extremely competent in dealing with a wide spectrum of cases in all age groups.
Jose Almeida, MDChief Medical Officer
Dr. Almeida is a board-certified emergency room physician with more than 27 years of experience in emergency medicine. He received his MD degree at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines. After graduating from UERMMMC, Dr. Almeida went to Philippine General Hospital for the general surgery residency training program from 1974-1979. In 1980, he went to the US and started his residency in general surgery in Chicago. He began working in the emergency room in Belleville, IL in 1984. He then became board-certified in emergency medicine in 1992, when he began working in the emergency room in Chicago Heights.
Dr. Almeida moved to Hawaii in 2005 and worked as a full time attending physician in the emergency room at St. Francis Hawaii Medical Center West, until its closing in December 2011. He currently works part time at Waianae Comprehensive Hospital and worked at hospitals in Kauai. Occasionally, he also works as a shipboard physician on the Holland America Cruise Line. He is well-qualified and vastly experienced in diagnosing and treating diseases in all age groups.
Francis Garret Puzon, RN, BSNChief Financial Officer
Francis Garret Puzon is a nurse manager and completed his RN degree in 1995. He started working at St. Francis Hawaii Medical Center West in 1995 and worked with the hospital until its closing. Garret has earned most of his experience working in the emergency room, but he has also worked on the floors and intensive care units. He is extremely competent and experienced in his field of work, and he has proved very successful in running the emergency department as nurse manager in 2005 until the hospital’s closing at the end of 2011. He has extensive clinical and management experience.
